Before George started making chocolates, he was making and decorating cakes. It is no surprise that his chocolate cakes are truly stunning. The Chocolate Cherry Truffle Torte is a long time family and friends favorite. A truly dense, chocolate flourless cake (gluten free) with maraschino cherries, kirschwasser and a hint of almonds. So rich that a small piece goes a long way. Serves 16 people. Cost $60. per cake.
Hot Coffee Cake: $45.00, serves twelve. This was a second place winner at ZestFest 2009, the international fiery food challenge in Fort Worth Texas in 2009. This is not a cake for the faint hearted. Plenty of heat is provided by the coffee-based hot sauce used in making this flourless chocolate cake. Coffee is also introduced in the espresso powder baked into the cake. The coffee and its heat make a wonderful blend with the chocolate and cocoa. Cool it down with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream. As dense as it is creamy smooth, the Hot Coffee Cake is flourless (gluten free).
Green Chile Pistachio Cake: $45.00, serves twelve. This one is not as hot as its sister, but still leaves a nice warm feeling in your mouth after your have swallowed the last morsel. This cake is also flourless and baked with ground pistachio instead. While you don't need to cool this one down, it still is nice to have ice cream with it! As dense as it is creamy smooth, the Green Chile Pistachio Cake is flourless (gluten free).
All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail for $10 for the first item and $1 for each additional item. A "Cold Keeper" is included to ensure your chocolates arrive fresh, although shipping to warm locations may be restricted during the Summer months. Sorry, shipping to US addresses only. If you wish to have a single order sent to multiple addresses we will be happy to work with you, but the base $10 per package cost will need to be collected separately. We will be happy to include a card with any gift orders, just make a note of it during checkout.
